school uniforms

i found this school uniform dress at an op shop the other day. it's so damn hard to photograph, but it looks brilliant in person. can you believe they gave it to me for two dollars!? it has this nice a-line shape, and looks super sweet with a grey scarf and navy stockings.

i think shopping for actual school uniforms, as opposed to schoolgirl-inspired things, is the way to go. i swear there are skirts at american apparel that you could find on private school girls all over the place. those stuffy school uniform stores are exactly where i need to be. if you know of any especially good ones, tell me please!
