christmas day

this is where i spent most of my christmas day, with my mum's side of the family. for lunch we had absurd amounts of ham and turkey, prawns and my favourite deviled eggs. for dessert, the world's best flan, trifle, and big red cherries. that day i took the opportunity to wear perhaps my favourite dress, which i found somewhere in australia but was originally sold at h&m. here you can also see my finest new headband, which you'll hear plenty about in upcoming posts. i hope you had a lovely christmas!

my new love

the other day i was browsing around a little store in a big shopping center when i noticed this dress. i nearly died with excitement. it happens to be the same dress that i've been longing for ever since i saw it on niotillfem maybe a year-or-so ago. her dress was from h&m, and was very difficult to find, so i ultimately just gave up. as angry as i get when i see bad quality topshop and h&m copies all around the place, this one was super nice and i'm very lucky that it existed. it's so nice when things like this pop up so unexpectedly.
