i've been meaning to get back into outfit posting, but i'm always so rushed in the morning as is. today i had a nice, quiet morning before uni, so i thought i'd show you what i'll wear.

the shirt is from urban outfitters (but i found it on ebay), the skirt is of course from american apparel, the socks are from sportsgirl and the bag is known as a kanken, from swedish brand 'fjallraven'.

hello sweet people! university is still pressing down on me very very hard, so i am not too happy at all. luckily, i still have all of my favourite clothes to cheer me up. this outfit followed me to university the other day, and was just so simple and comfortable and nice that it couldn't help but make me a little happy.

the tie-front top is from asos and the skirt is from american apparel. i also wore my cute new pink mac from asos (which didn't match awfully well, but i didn't mind).

hello! today and yesterday and the day before i have been very very very busy. they are being really mean to us at university, and i'm worried sick about all the things i need to have done in only a few days time. because of this, i haven't been able to take any pictures of cute things or show you what i've been wearing and it makes me very sad. the only nice thing about all of this is that my birthday is only a bit over a week away! it also happens to be after everything nasty is due, so it should be quite nice. i'll also be receiving a very good camera, if all things go to plan. anyway, here is what i look like as a blonde (and as lady gaga, apparently)! excuse the fuzzy cheeks. it couldn't be helped.

i've been very very very busy lately, as per usual. today i had another mini-presentation that i think went quite well. our big task is to design and build a cardboard chair. i am making a little art chair for young children that they can draw all over. it's pretty cute, i think. anyway, i felt it was only fair to show you something, so here are some nice new and old skirts that (hopefully) you are yet to see.

today i went to university, because that is apparently all that i'm allowed to do these days. i wore my new peter pan collar, which arrived a few days ago. i like it very much even though it's always sliding out of place. i'm not sure about the shirt with it, either. what do you think?

afterwards, to celebrate a mini-presentation that went quite well, my boyfriend and i went on a mini-adventure. we really had no plans, but managed to make it to china town, eat some nachos and buy this amazing little card game at a second-hand store. basically, you get five cards each, and whoever can make the silliest headline wins! we could have played for hours.

i should also mention how nice my sweet friend hanna is for posting such lovely things about me on her blog today. hello to all of hanna's fine followers!

to and fro

all that i seem to do lately is work and go to university. i'm only a week in, and i'm already terrified. i feel like i will never see my boyfriend again, and i will be forever researching toasters and chairs. everything seems so awful and bland and i miss being able to do only nice things.

over the last three days i've seen these same sights over and over again, traveling backwards and forwards and backwards and forwards. i am really quite fond of this train station, though, so it's not so bad. recently they added those nice cloudy blue skies all over the walls, which seem a bit odd in the grand scheme of things, but always manage to make me a little happier. every morning i check to make sure my hair is okay in those neat round mirrors. i like them a lot. i think one day i will steal them and put them in my home.
